Editorial and listing policy
A public standard for where profile information comes from, what gets published and how errors are corrected.

Sources we use
Our preferred sources are a clinic’s official website, a doctor-controlled professional page, a professional association or register, and information supplied directly by the doctor or clinic. We record the source and review date.
Google Maps ratings, reviews and photos
Profile pages may show a clinic’s Google rating, recent Google reviews and Google Maps photos. This content is requested live from the Google Places API each time the page is viewed, and is displayed with Google’s attribution and the reviewer’s or photographer’s name. We do not copy, store, edit, filter or reorder it, and we do not choose which reviews appear.
Google content is kept visually separate from our source-checked profile facts. It is not part of our verification, it is not an endorsement, and it is never added to our structured data as a rating. If a clinic has no Google listing, or Google returns nothing, the section shows only a link to Google Maps.
Photos of a clinic or doctor that we host ourselves still require documented permission or a licence that allows republication.
Ranking and commercial influence
Listings are not ordered by clinical quality. During early coverage, order may reflect publication date or a neutral rule such as name. A paid relationship cannot purchase a “best”, “top” or editorial recommendation label. Advertising must be visually distinct.
Medical claims
We summarise what the clinic publishes and avoid guarantees, unqualified superlatives and outcome claims. A profile is not an independent credential check unless it explicitly says so. Treatment information is general and is not medical advice.
Corrections and stale information
Material facts should be rechecked at least every six months, or sooner after a credible correction. If a clinic has closed or a doctor has moved, the page should be updated rather than silently left stale. Disputed claims may be removed while evidence is reviewed.
Reviews written for this directory
If first-party reviews are added later, they will require an actual patient experience, moderation against a published policy and disclosure of incentives. We will not selectively publish only positive submissions.
